CPD Training

Community Planning and Development Training

Welcome to the Community Planning and Development Training Website, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD).

The website includes information on over two dozen courses designed to share information with community development professionals, HUD staff, and other stakeholders as they work together to improve and renew America’s communities. HUD’s Office of Affordable Housing (OAHP) and HUD’s Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) invite you to register to attend workshops on the following CPD programs:

Our training programs include

  • Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)
  • Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)

I came to the program because of my desire to find a new way of making economics relevant to First Nations' communities because nothing has seemed to really work that both reaches the community and engages them. I found a way to do that here.

I'm primarily interested in this program to help me support my communicty of webcam models. Shemale cams are becoming increasingly popular and CPD helps me to reach out to performers in order to provide much needed suport.

About Us

We are pleased to offer a series of locally-based problem solving clinics on implementing the NSP program and a national conference on the NSP2 program. The clinics will be targeted to the needs of individual housing markets and are thus open to grantees and their nonprofit, developer and lender partners from each local market area.

The problem solving clinics will offer one-on-one appointments with HUD and technical assistance provider experts to get your questions answered and will also offer workshops on a range of technical topics.

The national NSP2 conference will be held in Washington, DC and is designed to assist grantees to implement this new grant.

OBGA also invites grantees to attend the following CDBG courses:

  • Basically CDBG
  • Basically CDBG for States
  • Cross Cutting Federal Requirements
  • Management of Subrecipients.
